Nutrition Clinic Offers Services to Students

Penn State’s Nutrition Clinic has two programs that may be of interest to graduate and professional students:

Weight Management Program
Develop Healthy Habits for Life! Meet with a Registered Dietitian to discuss personal dietary and fitness goals in our weight management program. Over the course of the 12-week program, students will meet with a dietitian six times. You’ll learn about healthy eating and snacking, exercise, how to add nutrient-dense food to your diet and much more. Students with the following health needs are encouraged to enroll: prediabetes, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, overweight/obese, and metabolic syndrome. The Nutrition Clinic is located in the Student Health Center. Aetna Student Health Insurance covers visits to the Nutrition Clinic. Become a Champion of Your Health! Make an appointment with a Registered Dietitian to discuss your personal nutrition needs and create a plan specific to you. One-on-one counseling is available for a variety of topics, including: general healthy eating and wellness, weight management, food allergies, vegetarian & vegan diets, nutrition & exercise, digestive disorders and eating disorders. The Nutrition Clinic is located in the Student Health Center. Aetna Student Health Insurance covers visits to the Nutrition Clinic.
